Bugging out in South Central BC
If SHTF really happens, who will survive? Most certainly not individuals who seek to escape on their own, no matter how many guns they have. My wife and I have been preparing for several years now, putting preps and food together. It gets to be overwhelming, especially when looking to accommodate young adult kids and their significant others possibly falling back to join up, yada, yada. They are on side, but still want a crack at a normal life. I personally believe, from the earth changes I am seeing, as well as reading the Kolbrin, among other things, that a pole shift will be on us, before the nwo gets its s**t together. The Zeta site suggests that only a community of STO folks will be able to ride it out. Yet, in every survival site,
nobody is willing to stand up for fear of shills and spooks. Plus we are all worried about losing control and being taken advantage of. So after a while one gets to think" ta hell with it all, eat your preps and get drunk, and let the chips fall where they may." But we have to do it to give the kids a chance. Bugging out is the only recourse. I've checked out the neighbors, and 99% would be Zombies coming for you as soon as the shelves were empty. Especially when they have seen you go shopping too often. So if anybody is ready to create a combined fall back position in the S central BC mountains, let me know. No spooks need apply.:36_1_28: |

Re: Bugging out in South Central BC
We're currently on Hwy 3 between Ossoyoos and Castlegar. Just picked up a beauty of a Toyota 4 runner. to get up on the logging roads when the time is right. My wife is concerned about being too near the US. My houghts are if they wanted to "protect" us, they would leapfrog into the north and scrape us together from there. I think those boys will have enough trouble at home.
Keep up the response. No Spooks need apply:36_1_30: |
Re: Bugging out in South Central BC
Who will survive? The people with a stock-pile of food to last at least a year, the ability to defend that stock-pile and/or themselves, people who can buy in case of emergency (with gold, silver or platinum). Do not forget about having a ham-radio, 2-6m bandwidth minimum
"Survivalists" who looked like nutcases before SHTF will be doing good. Good play on words..... that statue looks a bit familiar............. |
Re: Bugging out in South Central BC
Don't worry too much about the USA. Most folks wouldn't even consider enduring one of our Winters. The Migrations will be to the South for natural warmth as well as agriculture.
Start drying wood now to make smoke-free fires. You sound like you have the rest of your plan together. Train the spouse and kids on use of firearms (not that you have any *cough*). Take some courses from Tom Brown Jr. Peace. |
Re: Bugging out in South Central BC
I should start a new thread "name the statue." Apparently it crossed the Atlantic a few times during WW2. Can you name it.
Regards bugging out, my idea would be for a dozen families to incorporate and buy a 100 acres of secluded terrain, with some decent ground for gardens etc. Handyman types for a pool of trades and not afraid to work. If Zetas are right - we will need to start from the beginning again. One family by themselves, if a gang comes for you, you can't stay awake for 48 hours. |
Re: Bugging out in South Central BC
Very small group.
If you have large group you will be big target. |
Re: Bugging out in South Central BC
Because of land use, zoning, etc., not to much can be done before hand, except for planning and gathering resources. It would be an RV "storage" facility, ready for occupancy when that time comes. In the meantime it would be a hobby farm for the on site manager/owner. It could also be made to look like a private "paint ball" club. Nobody going by would ever pay any attention to it.

Re: Bugging out in South Central BC
Actually I'm in the Grand Forks- Christina Lake area. From the looks of it, the best plan is to head for the high country, wait for the dust to settle, then come back and take whatever I want. muahhahaha!

Congratulations on naming the avatar, Striped Bear. I was born and raised in Austin Manitoba, home of the world famous Manitoba Thresherman's Museum. It may be the world's largest working collection of steam and gas engines and threshing machines. It's an awesome experience for both young and old.
